Having come from the Kansas City Public School System, I see time and again the unwillingness of teachers to be accountable for their teaching practices.  AP education is discouraged for fear of failure.  I emailed this article to Dr. Jill Shackelford, the superintendent of KCPS, and I eagerly await her response.</description>
