spam

This one below puzzles me, though I’ll read anything that gets through my spam filter. If it’s gotten to my Inbox, it’s worth checking out to see what tactics made it successful.

[One of the best I’ve seen had a subject of “Jefferson Airplane Was Right” - I like classic rock, click. The inside text? “ONE PILL MAKES YOU LARGER… CIALIS!” a witty inclusion of the lyrics to White Rabbit. Kudos to that spammer on a job well done.]

Anyway, I’ve won a Visa to the United States and can secure it for $1,082. I had to delete my claim and passport numbers so no one steals my prize:

From the office of: The Co-ordinator
UniAir Visa Lottery Program

I wonder if I get a discount if I was born in New York?

That’s nothing. My Nigerian friend promises me a huge reward (millions even) if I help him through the political turmoil that endangers him and his national minister father. Sure, it may cost me a few thousand dollars, but I consider it an investment.

Willing to take on a partner? I bet I could come up with some extra cash if it’s a sure thing.

Oh man…your spammer are way cooler than my spammers. All I get anymore are offers to increase the size of appendages I don’t even have. I haven’t even won the lottery in ages and the Nigerians have given up on me.
